The Club has always enjoyed a close relationship with the armed forces and Everton is proud of those fans who have served their country.

On Saturday, before the Premier League game against Sunderland, representatives from the armed forces laid wreathes at Goodison Park.

The packed crowd impeccably observed a minute's silence before the game kicked off, with both teams wearing special shirts featuring the traditional poppy design.

Everton's work with the armed forces goes beyond the Remembrance Day activities, with the Club's Inside Right scheme providing vital support to war veterans.
