All eyes were on Darron Gibson on Tuesday 6 November, as the latest of Everton’s Supporters’ Club roadshows took place.

The Republic of Ireland international was the special guest of the mid-Cheshire branch and was joined by the Blues’ leading post-war goalscorer Graeme Sharp, Chief Executive Robert Elstone and Media and Publications Manager, Darren Griffiths, who also MC’d the event.

Fans were able to chat to Gibson who, along with Sharp, signed photographs and posed for pictures after an entertaining question and answer session.

Mr Elstone then took the floor as he outlined the Club’s commitment to finding new investment before Sharpy provided a well-received trip down memory lane by recounting some of his and Everton’s past glories.

The event culminated in a raffle, with the lucky winners receiving an Everton pennant signed by Darron Gibson and a squad signed third shirt.

To raise awareness of Everton in the Community’s 25th anniversary celebrations, special wristbands were also sold to those in attendance. The wristbands are currently on sale at the Everton One and Everton Two stores.

More visits are planned throughout the season. Look out for more details on evertonfc.com.
