England Stars' Royal Appointment

Jags, Baines and England squad met Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Everton's England stars met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Tuesday.

The royal couple were guests of honour at the official opening of St George's Park, the new centre of excellence for English football.

Blues pair Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines were training with the rest of the squad ahead of Friday's game against San Marino.

The Duke and Duchess mingled with manager Roy Hodgson and the rest of his players as part of a tour of the £105m facility.

There was also time to pose for photographs before a series of speeches from some of the English game's key protagonists.
