Moyes Wanted More
Manager says Blues should have had another penalty.
David Moyes felt Everton may have taken more from Saturday's 2-2 draw at Wigan, insisting his side were denied a clear penalty.
Leighton Baines rescued a late point from the spot after Nikica Jelavic had earlier cancelled out Arouna Kone's opener.
But Blues boss Moyes felt a Maynor Figueroa foul on Jelavic also merited a spot kick.
"I thought we had another penalty shout with Nikica Jelavic in the second half which should have been given," said Moyes afterwards. "But we kept at it and deserved to get a goal back.
"We thoroughly deserved the point, no doubt about that. We played really well in the second half and kept having a go at them, and Kevin Mirallas had a great chance.
"They did what I asked in the second half to make sure we got something out of the game."
It was Honduran Figueroa who later tripped Kevin Mirallas, allowing Baines to maintain his 100 per cent record from penalties.
And Moyes was full of praise for the former Latics star.
"Baines was outstanding today," he added. "At times he was unplayable he was that good.
"His penalty was fantastic and his performance was up there as good as anything.
"We needed it and he drove us on, and we showed great character because we weren't getting a lot of decisions going for us."
