Scotland Call For Naismith

Steven named in national squad for World Cup qualifiers.

Steven Naismith has been named in the Scotland squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Wales and Belgium.

Manager Craig Levein announced his 25-man group on Tuesday, with the Everton forward included alongside Darren and Steven Fletcher, who are both making long-awaited recalls.

After two draws last month, the Scots resume their qualifying campaign on Friday 12 October against Wales at Cardiff City Stadium.

And Naismith could come up against Everton teammates Marouane Fellaini and Kevin Mirallas when the Tartan Army descend on Brussels on Tuesday 16 October.
