StubHub Makes The Difference

How StubHub allowed fan Neil to become a Seasont Ticket holder.

An Evertonian from Hertfordshire is the proud owner of a Season Ticket for the first time in 15 years, now that he is able to sell individual match tickets via StubHub.
 
Lifelong Blue Neil Roberts is originally from Wirral but moved down south a number of years ago, taking him over 200 miles from Goodison Park and forcing him to give up his Season Ticket.
 
Despite the distance, Neil's passion for the Blues remained unwavering and now, thanks to the StubHub deal, he has been able to commit to a season-long stay at Goodison, along with his eight-year-old son George.
 
The Club's new deal with StubHub allows Season Ticket holders to sell their seat for games that they are unable to attend by listing the ticket quickly and easily on their official website.
 
Neil said: "We live too far away from the ground so in previous years, it has not been worthwhile to buy a Season Ticket as we wouldn't be able to attend every game and would lose out financially. It means that I simply purchase match tickets when I can for George and I.
 
"However when I read about the Club's new deal with StubHub, it was the first time since moving away from Wirral that buying a Season Ticket became economically viable.
 
"I completely understand that for some fixtures, I won't get face value when I sell the ticket on StubHub but if I can get some money back each time I can't attend and more importantly, my seat won't be empty, then I will be happy."
 
The option to sell on their seats to other fans combined with the low prices for juniors this term, has also led to Neil purchasing his son's very first Season Ticket.
 
"I am delighted that I have been able to buy George his first Season Ticket as he can now begin his own Everton journey," he added. "Not all Blues fans live in Merseyside and the midweek games can make it difficult for supporters to attend every game so StubHub is a great idea.

The facility is now available for Season Ticket holders to list their seat for fixtures that they cannot attend on StubHub's official website, giving other fans the opportunity to experience the best seats at Goodison.
 
Seats can be listed for any Barclays Premier League home fixture this season, so fans will have the opportunity to buy tickets for games that haven't gone on sale yet.
