Moyes draws line under Fellaini reports.

David Moyes has drawn a line under recent newspaper reports concerning the future of Marouane Fellaini after speaking privately with the midfielder.

Quotes emanated from Belgium last weekend suggesting the 24-year-old would seek a move away from Goodison Park.

Moyes spoke with Fellaini on this return from international duty earlier this week and says the episode is now in the past.  

"Undoubtedly he's spoken with a journalist," said Moyes on Friday. "When [the players] go away on international duty, that's what they do. [The journalists] massage their egos and the players sometimes think they are talking to a different set of people and maybe they can say things they think don't matter.

"It does matter and I've made Marouane aware of that, and that's it. These things happen. I've had a word with him and we'll move on."
