Ossie Staying Positive
Midfielder not deflated by West Brom reverse.

Leon Osman insists defeat at West Brom shouldn’t detract from the positivity at the Club.
The Blues went into the game on a high after wins over Manchester United, Aston Villa and Leyton Orient, while they were also boosted by a successful transfer deadline day.
Shane Long and Gareth McAuley scored second half goals at the Hawthorns to end that 100 per cent start, but afterwards, Osman called for perspective.
He told evertontv: “It is important we stay positive. We have had two wins out of three [in the Premier League] so we’ll take a step back and look at it positively, and move on quickly.
“Again we have been very active in the transfer market and brought in quite a few players. We’ll help them settle in quickly and that will give the lads a boost. I don’t know much about them but I am sure I will find out.”
A pivotal moment in Saturday’s clash seemed to arrive when the Blues lost Darron Gibson to a thigh strain midway through the first half.
The Irishman has been in fine form and was dictating the tempo of play before he hobbled off.
Osman said: “I thought we were on top at the time. We were prodding and poking and starting to create chances. It was disappointing for Darron to go off as he has been playing really well for us. Hopefully we will get some positive new on that.
The Midfielder added: “We knew it would be tough here, they always make it difficult and have had a good start to the season.
“So we knew we would have to play well and I thought for half an hour we did. We just didn’t create and score when we had the opportunities. They are always going to get chances and when they came, they took them and that was that.”
