Mirallas delighted at making his Everton debut.
says his first appearance in an Everton shirt was a 'fantastic moment'.
The Blues' latest summer signing came off the bench during the 3-1 win at Aston Villa on Saturday less than a week after joining the Club.
And the new number 11 was delighted at his first taste of Premier League action, which he claims was made easier by the Blues' first-half demolition.
"My teammates didn't stop talking to me on the field," he told evertontv. "They were speaking to me and helping me out so it was great.
"It was a fantastic moment to come on. With us 3-0 up, it meant that I could go on a bit calmer than normal."
The Belgian even looked to have capped his debut with a goal, only to see the linesman's flag render his strike void.
He said: "I don't know if it was offside or not, I couldn't tell.
"It certainly would have been a fantastic debut if it had counted, but I'll be going all out to score in the next game now.
"The main thing is getting into the right places, getting into the pace of the game and getting minutes on the field."
With the likes of Steven Pienaar
, Marouane Fellaini and Leon Osman
all at their dazzling best in the Midlands, Mirallas admits his new colleagues have made him even more excited at joining the Club..
He said: "We're clearly playing very good football at the moment and that reinforces the decision I made to come here.
"I knew I was coming to a great club, but the fact that we're playing so well - I think we merited the victory today by some distance. Let's hope we can continue."
It wasn't just the people on the pitch that impressed Mirallas at Villa Park, as almost 3,000 joyous supporters sang their hearts out in standard Evertonian fashion.
"I was already impressed with the support at home to Manchester United," he explained. "And although we didn't outnumber the home fans obviously, we certainly outsang them."
