1Matches played by Sir Alex Ferguson against Everton during his career. The Toffees visited Falkirk for a pre-season friendly in August 1972 and won 4-1, with the Manchester United manager conceding a penalty.
2 Substitutes who scored in our 3-1 victory over Manchester United in February 2010, Dan Gosling and Jack Rodwell being the players in question. It was only the second time two Everton substitutes had scored in the same game, but curiously it then happened against in the next home match against Hull City.

20 Sunday is the 20th anniversary of the first meeting between the two clubs in the Premier League, a contest which saw the Blues triumph 3-0 at Old Trafford. 
28 Years since we had last drawn an away game 4-4 before last season’s visit to Old Trafford. The previous instance had been at Watford in February 1984, when we also trailed 3-1 and 4-2 before scoring two late goals.
30 Years since an outfield player appeared in goal for Everton at Goodison, Mick Lyons replacing the concussed Neville Southall during a 3-3 draw with United in April 1982.
40 Years since we last scored a league penalty against Manchester United when Joe Royle netted in a 2-0 win at Goodison in September 1972. Since then Kevin Sheedy has missed two – at Old Trafford in 1985 and at Goodison four years later.
109 Years since the two clubs first met, when United were known as Newton Heath. Everton won what was an FA Cup tie 3-1 at Goodison Park. The first league encounter was three years later, the Blues proving 3-0 victors. 
183 Successive Premier League appearances by former Manchester United goalkeeper Tim Howard since September 2007.

Jamie Robinsonnotice how last year Everton VS Manchester United was 4-4 in april ? that makes it: 4-4 on the 4th month 2012 - 4-4 on the 04.12 4+4+4=12 more than a coincidence
