Blues Land Naismith
Scotland international pens four-year deal at Goodison.
Steven Naismith
Everton have completed the signing of Scotland international Steven Naismith who has put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
The former Rangers forward, 25, joins as a free agent and has completed all the formalities.
Naismith has won 15 caps for his country and will join up with the rest of the Blues squad for pre-season training at Finch Farm this week.
Everton Manager David Moyes said: "We are delighted that Steven has agreed to join us. He will be an excellent addition to the players we already have and we look forward to him being fit and ready to play at the start of the season.
"He is an established international who can play in a number of positions. He has a flexibility we always like in our players and which will hopefully prove to be very useful for us."
Steven added: "‘It is a great honour to be joining a club of Everton’s wonderful history and to have the chance to play with such a talented group of players in the world’s best league: the Barclays Premier League, in front of such a passionate group of fans.
"I look forward greatly to working with the Manager David Moyes and all the staff at Everton and working hard to deliver on the pitch to repay their, and the Chairman Mr Kenwright’s, faith and belief in me."

Patrick O'BrienGreat Signing. If the Blues keep Fellaini and Baines, sign Prajnic, Pienaar, and another forward/attacking midfielder,, European Play will be in the bag!

Paul HowellsGreat signing, him and Jela will be lethal together. Hopefully this will help us keep the likes of Felli and Baines plus if we can get Pienaar in we can really aim for top 6 if not further.

Joel CurranGood signing by Moyes.. Naismith mainly played on the right for Rangers. So that helps massively for us, as that lets Osman come into the middle where he plays so much better for Everton..

Peter SwansonWell done the board, this is a big signing for us , from having no one who could put the ball in the net we now have a strike force that will put the fear of God (MOYES ) into our opponents.. IMWT

Alex KennaGood signing, naismith will give us more firepower upfront if fellaini is put back in the middle. No offense to Cahill and straq but they just aren't/weren't good enough
