David Moyes has declared January's victory over Manchester City as his best moment of the 2011/12 season.

The match itself was settled by a venomous Darron Gibson strike but it was only one of the dramatic moments that day.

Everton signed two players who would go on to have a significant impact on the rest of the season, with Nikica Jelavic being unveiled at half time and a deal for Steven Pienaar to return on loan confirmed after the final whistle.

When asked about his most memorable moment of the campaign, the manager replied: "We beat Man City 1-0 here in January. For us that was memorable because it was also the night when we brought in Jelavic and Pienaar so the momentum had just started to build for us.

"That would probably be the pick for me that season."

Why not enjoy the highlights of the game - and Jelavic's introduction - by watching the video above.

Joel CurranIts such a shame that Drenthe played up and Moyes lost his patience with him. Lets just hope Spurs don't ask for too much for Pienaar, as we need 2 decent wide players.
