Player of the Season to take over Facebook & Twitter from 12.20pm.

Newly-crowned Everton Player of the Season John Heitinga will be taking over our official Everton Facebook page and Twitter account this lunchtime to chat with supporters.

The popular Dutch defender, who landed the top prize at Thursday's End of Season Awards, is a big fan of social media and volunteered to answer questions via the web from around 12.20pm.

To take part via Facebook simply ‘like’ the Everton page and then post your question on our wall shortly after the start time.

Heitinga won’t be able to answer every question but should he choose to answer yours then he will do so by commenting on the post.

To participate through Twitter simply follow the official @everton feed and tweet at us using the hashtag #AskJohnny.

Heitinga is eager to discuss everything from the future, his teammates, this summer's Euros and, of course, his pride at being voted our best performer of the 2011/12 campaign.
