Joe Parkinson and Stuart Barlow were among 130 people who took on the zip slide challenge at Goodison Park on Monday.
Hundreds of supporters gathered to watch the former Blues duo and their fellow adrenaline junkies fly from the top balcony, across the pitch and into the Bullens Road stand on the specially assembled zip line.
The event was held to raise money for Everton in the Community and organisers hope it will raise tens of thousands of pounds for the Blues’ official charity.
The bank holiday made the event a real family affair, with face-painters on hand and music playing throughout the day.
And Parkinson said: "This is a great event and everyone had a lot of fun. As soon as I had zipped across the pitch, I wanted to go back up to the Top Balcony and do it again."
