Moyes: Wolves Challenge Unpredictable

Boss unsure what to expect from already-relegated Midlanders.

David Moyes admits Wolves present something of an unpredictable challenge for his side this Sunday.
 
The men from Molineux are already condemned to relegation and also the ignominy of collecting the division’s wooden spoon.
 
Last week they were involved in a bizarre match at Swansea where they looked set for a serious spanking at 3-0 down inside 20 minutes before eventually drawing 4-4.
 
That game exposed the fragility that has blighted the Midlanders all season while also highlighting the dangers of facing a team whose fate is already sealed.
 
Moyes said: “You never know what you will get when you are facing a team that is already down.
 
“But it is a Premier League game and also Wolves’ last home game of the season as well.

"It will be tough but we are in good form and looking to play as attractively as we did at Stoke and against Fulham. We will try to keep the form going and score some more goals.
 
“The players will enjoy the game and if they play the same way they have been then I will be happy.”
 
Back in February with their team deep in trouble, the Wolves board opted to dismiss Mick McCarthy and promote his assistant, Terry Connor, to the top job.
 
The move failed to enliven the struggling outfit and Moyes believes the consensus is they were too quick to discard the vastly-experienced McCarthy.
 
He added: “Terry was always going to find it difficult – it was tough for Mick. Everyone probably feels that it was the wrong decision and that Mick had as good a chance as anybody (of keeping them up).

"Terry was obviously Mick’s assistant, but Wolves have to make their own decisions and do what they feel is best for them.”
