Sharpy's 86/87 Teammates

Even 25 years on Sharpy can clearly recall the dressing room erupting in laughter.

Recent signing Neil Pointon had just walked in wearing a ‘bullfighter’s jacket’ and, naturally, was on the receiving end of some serious stick from his new colleagues.

Unfortunately for Neil, it is enough to top the list in the ‘worst dressed’ category as Sharpy dishes the dirt on his 1986/87 teammates.

Adrian Heath will probably be more pleased to hear he was considered the squad’s ‘ladies’ man’, while Peter Reid probably won’t be too unhappy to hear he is remembered as the Blues’ own ‘party animal’.

Derek Mountfield mightn’t be best pleased with his ‘biggest lightweight’ tag and Ian Snodin is sure to have words with Sharpy after prevailing in the ‘dodgiest moustache’ category!
