Ossie's Milestone Celebrated
Fulham programme marks midfielder's 300th game.
Leon Osman is on the verge of his 300th appearance for Everton – and the midfielder talks exclusively to the official matchday programme for the visit of Fulham.
Osman looks back on his time at the Blues and reminisces about his debut at Tottenham Hotspur back in 2003.
He also discusses the disappointing FA Cup semi-final defeat to Liverpool and reveals his tactic for ensuring the rest of the playing squad vote for him in the Player of the Season awards.
Elsewhere, David Moyes, Phil Neville and Ronnie Goodlass pen their regular programme notes, while former assistant boss and ex-Fulham striker Viv Busby recalls his spells at both clubs as well as a battle off the pitch which almost claimed his life.
There’s plenty more for fans to get their teeth into with the only matchday magazine that matters, including a look back at the sensational 4-4 draw at Manchester United, the 4-0 win over Sunderland and the 2-2 draw at Norwich City, while there’s a full colour poster of James McFadden.
ITV sport presenter Adrian Chiles gives his Blues views in Press Box, we take a look at Gary Ablett’s book and there’s a full round-up on the latest Reserves, Academy and Ladies news.
We’ve also got all you need to know about Saturday’s opponents, while supporters of all ages can tackle the Spot the Difference puzzle as well as taking on the tricky Toffees quiz and embarking on a trip down memory lane to remember previous games played On This Day.
The 84-page edition is priced £3 and will be available to purchase inside and outside the stadium, from the Everton One and Two megastore and sales points outside of Goodison and in Stanley Park car park.
They are also available in the city centre from Liverpool Echo street vendors and can also be ordered on 0845 143 0001 or by clicking here.
