Youngster wins back the cost of his Season Ticket.

One lucky junior Blue and his father are celebrating today after winning back the cost of the youngster’s Season Ticket, just days before the Early Bird deadline.

Six-year-old Adam of Bebington became the fifth supporter to be rewarded for snapping up his 2012/13 Season Ticket before the Early Bird window closes on Friday (20 April).

With the introduction of a £95 Season Ticket for Under-11s for the 2012/13 season, Mark decided to buy Adam his first Season Ticket as soon as they went on sale in March – and he was delighted to hear his son had been randomly selected to receive a full reimbursement.

Mark said: “That’s absolutely fantastic. It’s Adam’s first Season Ticket so he will be made up, and he will be delighted to see his name on the website too!

“I bought both of our Season Tickets on the first day they went on sale as I usually buy mine early anyway. I don’t usually get selected for things like this though. It’s made my day.”
 
Mark has been a Season Ticket holder in the Gwladys Street for 10 years and has recently started taking Adam to Goodison too.

“He has started coming to a few games this season and he is really into it. So when the £95 offer came up, I just thought I cannot really turn it down,” said Mark.

The Early Bird special draw, in association with bluekipper.com and grandoldteam.com, rewards Evertonians who have bought their Season Tickets before the deadline.

All Season Ticket holders who renew for next season before the Early Bird deadline on Friday 20 April will benefit from a 25 per cent discount based on match-by-match prices, and match-goers who upgrade to a Season Ticket for the first time in 2012/13 will receive a 20 per cent discount.

Supporters who have bought their 2012/13 Season Ticket since they went on sale on Monday 12 March will be entered into the prize draw. The final draw will take place next week so supporters still have one more chance to win if they purchase their Season Ticket before Friday's deadline.
