New Chairman For Fans' Forum

Everton’s fans' forum was led by a new chairman at its the latest meeting last month.

For the first time, an Everton supporter, Tony Bott, took charge of proceedings.

A number of issues were on the agenda, including the make-up and management of the forum itself.

It was agreed that more members were required and that former members would be approached with a view to returning on an interim basis.  It was also decided that the current forum members would be responsible for reporting the events of future meetings as well as the agenda.

A full-scale recruitment process will take place in August. It was also confirmed that fans can email current members with any issues they have – and that their details are available here.

The meeting was also attended by Alex Leith from Kitbag who discussed issues relating to availability of non-Everton items in club stores and increasing the range and sizes of items available for women and children. The feedback was well received and has been taken away to discuss with the wider Kitbag team.

Everton agreed to investigate the position of cameras which can obstruct the views of some fans watching from the disabled viewing area of Goodison Park at the Park End.  This situation will continue to be monitored.

As part of the meeting the forum were also briefed on the pricing for the Sunderland FA Cup game, Season Ticket details for 2012/13 and the issues surrounding Everton’s ticket allocation at QPR.

The Club is set to feedback to the forum at future meetings on a number of areas, including: programme sales outlets, a loyalty scheme, pre-paid cards for use on a matchday and supporters’ clubs using customer numbers for their tickets.

alan gadsdenDo you think that the club is going to be sold if so will it be done before the end of season.
