Everton has announced its plans to introduce a new £5 per game ticket (£95 per season) for all junior school children as part of the 2012/13 Season Ticket campaign, ‘Stand Together'.

The move comes following the success of this year's FA Cup initiative and as the Blues reveal their overall pricing structure for the 2012/13 Premier League season.

More than 18,000 kids tickets have been sold for the games against Tamworth, Fulham and Blackpool with the quarter-final tie against Sunderland also set to follow suit at a ‘fiver' for juniors and kids.

The ‘Stand Together' campaign's ethos and motivation is to bring the Club and supporters even closer together and, as in previous seasons, there is a strong emphasis on making football affordable for everyone.

Alongside the introduction of the new £95 Season Ticket that includes all Premier League games for kids in year six or below, Junior Blues (school years 7-11) will have their prices FROZEN in all areas of the stadium, including the Family Enclosure.

2012/13 ticket prices were determined following extensive consultation with key influential supporter groups and the Club has ensured that the biggest discounts are available to those supporters planning to renew.

Returning* adult and concession Season Ticket holders, including Half Season Ticket holders, purchasing on or before the Early Bird deadline on 20 April will benefit from a 25% DISCOUNT based on individual match prices. This becomes a 12.5% DISCOUNT for supporters unable to take advantage of the deadline.

Match ticket-purchasing fans planning to upgrade to Season Ticket holder status for the first time in 2012/13, will receive a 20% DISCOUNT pre Early Bird and 10% after the window closes.

2012/13 pricing categories

  • Kids under 11 (school year 6 and below) - New £95 rate
  • Juniors 11-15 (school years 7-11)
  • Concessions 16-20 and over 65
  • Adult

The Club has opted to revise the match categories for next season with the removal of the two category E games, which will be reinstated to category D status as per last season.

Chief Executive Robert Elstone said:  "Season Ticket pricing is something we consider long and hard. It provides the 'bread and butter' of our attendance and matchday income. It's critical we get it right.

"It is the price that affects our most loyal fans and loyalty played a significant part in formulating this year's prices.  We needed to make sure that renewing Season Ticket holders received the biggest benefits.

"We've spoken to fans, including the Fans' Forum, discussed it as a team, looked at other clubs and looked at our recent pricing history.

"We've seen the success of the 'fiver for kids' in the Cup and we know all our fans would want us to welcome young Evertonians and make Goodison as accessible as possible for future generations."

He added: "Over recent years, we've frozen prices, indeed we've not passed on VAT increases and passed on greater reductions when VAT went down. As a result of our 2012/13 pricing structure it does mean a small average increase of just over 3% from last year (based on adult early bird) but we still feel it is great value and remains as competitive as possible."
