Blues & Hoops Can Both Prosper
Dave Thomas talks about two of his old clubs
Former Everton and QPR player Dave Thomas believes both of his old clubs can achieve their respective aims this season.
The two go head to head at Loftus Road on Saturday with the Blues looking to push on towards the Europa League places and the Hoops needing points in their fight for survival.
Thomas thinks Rangers will have enough under Mark Hughes, while the Blues’ recent high profile wins show they can claim a top seven place.
He said: “It is very difficult for teams coming up from the Championship and if you can stay up then you have done well. They have a chairman who is prepared to put in some capital and a good manager in Mark Hughes so I would think they will have just enough to stay up.”
Thomas added: “What Everton do every year is unbelievable and I saw them beat Man City recently and they looked so motivated for that game. They always start poorly and finish strongly but they have some good players and will be looking at top six or seven.”
