Paul Bracewell says Everton and Sunderland will be desperate to book an FA Cup trip to Wembley.
The 1985 League and European Cup Winners' Cup winning star played in four FA Cup finals during his career, turning out under the Twin Towers for both the Blues and the Black Cats.
His former Everton teammate Peter Reid, who was also his boss at Sunderland, helped draw the two sides against each other in the last eight on Sunday afternoon, picking out Everton as the home team. The winners of the tie will travel to the capital for the semi-finals in April.
The quarter-final meeting at Goodison will be played over the weekend of 17-18 March and Bracewell is expecting a thriller.
In the audio clip below, the Heswell-born former England international also talks about Sunderland's rejuvenated form under new manager Martin O'Neill, Everton's recent upturn in fortunes and why a trip to Wembley would mean so much to both sets of supporters.
