Wallace Loan Extension
Everton midfielder set for longer spell at Tranmere.
James Wallace is poised to extend his loan spell at Tranmere Rovers.
The Blues midfielder, 20, has played four times since his temporary move to Prenton Park and started yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic.
Wallace picked up the man of the match award on his Rovers debut against Huddersfield and has won many admirers in his first month at the club.
The paperwork for his extension will be completed on Monday and he is expected to stay with the League One outfit until March 20.
Tranmere boss Les Parry was understandably delighted to retain Wallace’s services for a further month.
He said: “I've spoken to David Moyes and he'll be staying for another month.
"He's fitted in really well with John Welsh and Robbie Weir and each game they're working more as a unit and they're getting more and more impressive, so it's a massive boost."

Victor TayCome on James, learn as much as you can and start to knock on the first team door when you are back. It is possible, just look at Duffy and Baxter. They are getting their chances recently!
