Have Your Memorabilia Valued
Bring your items along as 'Fantiques Roadshow' visits Goodison
Evertonians know their history and hence love a bit of memorabilia – now they can see if their prized possessions are worth a few quid.
The aptly-named ‘Fantiques Roadshow’ will come to Goodison Park next month (March 8) and supporters are being urged to come along, show off their souvenirs and have them valued.
Graham Budd, formerly of famed London auction house Sotheby’s and an expert in sporting antiques and trinketry, will be the man on hand to cast his eye over the items and offer a professional verdict.
The event will also be filmed by ‘Futbol Mundial’ – the global television show – so not only might you have a pleasant surprise as to the value of your items; you could also find yourself on the television.
And should you receive good news and decide to cash in, then the option to submit your item for auction at Sotheby’s on May 15 also exists.
The event will take place in one of the lounges at Goodison between 10am and 4pm on March 8 and all items – not just Everton-related – are more than welcome.
