Holloway Eyes Top Flight Return
'We're a Premier League team in the making,' says Pool boss.
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway wants his players to send out a message to the Premier League when they take on Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.
The Seasiders were relegated on the final day of last season, but they currently find themselves in the play-off positions of the Championship and within touching distance of an instant return to the top flight.
Holloway remembers the epic battle between Blackpool and Everton 12 months ago and wants a repeat performance when the sides do battle for a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
"We were on the wrong end of a cracking game at Goodison last season," the Tangerines boss recalled. "We were 3-2 up but lost 5-3 after I made a couple of defensive changes that backfired.
"But we'll return to savour the occasion - and hopefully we can show that we are a Premier League team in the making."
