Throwback Strac Boosts Boss
Old-schoold Denis is doing the job for his manager.
Denis Stracqualursi
David Moyes says he's enjoying Denis Stracquaursi's tireless performances at the pinnacle of Everton's attack.
The on-loan Argentine is enjoying an run of first team starts after featuring only sporadically before Christmas.
He has been rewarded with two goals so far - the second coming in Saturday'a 2-0 win over Chelsea.
Moyes says Stracqualursi offers a pleasing throwback to traditional centre-forward play.
"He was fantastic against Chelsea," beamed Moyes.
"I think he's got better. He's old-fashioned - when I played there was lots of that type of centre-forward about, a little bit huff and puff, not always pleasing on the eye sometimes, but by the end he sort of wore them down."
Moyes also lifted the lid on Stracqualursi's remarkable attitude, both in training and on matchdays.
"He's got an iron lung I know that, the boy can keep going," continued the Blues boss.
"If anybody deserves it - you don't get a chance to see him - but he trains every day, he does extra every day, he's never once questioned it, he's made a real go at trying to be successful in England so he deserves everything he gets at the moment, he really does."

Victor TayTremendous workrate and a great goal. Here is to more goals and a permanent deal in the summer. Then we will have two first choice centre forwards (Nikica Jelavic) to choose from.

Peter HodgsonWell said DM. From what I have seen of Denis the Menace he could become a Goodison legend if given the chance. With that work rate he will worry any defence. Keep up the good work Denis.
