Bootle Host LSC Semi

Wednesday Semi-final next up for Everton in Senior Cup.

Everton make the short trip to the Delta Taxis Stadium on Wednesday evening as they face Bootle FC in the semi-final of the Liverpool Senior Cup.

Kevin Sheedy's young Blues progressed to the last four of the competition with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over St Helens Town in November.

Anton Forrester and Ryan Higgins scored on the night and will be looking to net again against Bootle FC.

The winners of the tie will face either Tranmere Rovers or Prescot Cables. The latter take the place of Southport, who were kicked out of the cup for fielding an ineligible player.

Everton have won the competition a record 45 times, but last lifted the trophy in 2007.

Kick-off at the Delta Taxis stadium is at 7.45pm, with £4 tickets for adults and £2 for concessions.
