Ross Barkley

Play more games for the first team, and celebrate a goal in front of the Gwladys Street.

Those are the rather refreshing aims of Blues teenage star Ross Barkley, who sat down in front of the evertontv cameras for the first time this week.

Barkley has shown flashes of his undoubted ability for the Blues this season, including an impressive full debut on the opening day of the season against QPR.

The Wavertree-born youngster speaks about coming through the Everton Academy and how excited he got first training alongside his heroes in the Blues first team.

Watch the above video for a bit of history, as the emerging prospect does his first ever camera interview.
