Blues Missing Rodwell & Ossie
Hamstring injuries hit midfield pair but Saha could be back.
Jack Rodwell
Leon Osman
David Moyes will have to patch up his midfield for the trip to Arsenal after he confirmed both Leon Osman and Jack Rodwell are likely to miss out.
Rodwell sustained a hamstring injury in training on Thursday, while Osman, who also has a damaged hamstring, was injured late on in the defeat to Stoke.
On the plus side, Moyes is hopeful of being able to recall Louis Saha up front. The French striker pulled out ahead of the game against the Potters with a thigh problem.
Moyes said: âUnfortunately Jack Rodwell picked up a hamstring injury in training and Leon Osman looks to have a similar problem. He got that in last five minutes against Stoke and it looks like both will be missing.
âMaybe, with a bit of luck we will get Louis Saha back, but we will have to see how he is in training. But obviously the injuries to Jack and Ossie leave me a bit short in central midfield.â
