Sharpy's Scouting Report
Blues legend breaks down Stoke's threat
Graeme Sharp believes stopping Stoke's two wide players will be key for Everton if they are to prevail against the Potters at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Tony Pulis' team place a real onus on both boxes and look to launch long balls, throw-ins and set-pieces into the opposition area whenever possible.
Key to that strategy are wingers Jermaine Pennant and Matthew Etherington, who look to swing crosses in at every opportunity.
And Sharp said: "Pennant has had a chequered career but is now playing regular games at Stoke while Etherington is a key player. The two of them like to cross the ball and they don't necessarily have to beat their man to do so. Stopping those two will go a long way to stopping Stoke."
