Fireworks At St James'?
Everton will be hoping for some early fireworks in their clash with Newcastle this weekend.
Last season the Toffees recorded a 2-1 victory at St James' Park with Leon Osman and Phil Jagielka on the scoresheet.
The odds on a repeat scoreline are a tempting 10.00 (9/1) and it's worth bearing in mind that the Magpies have scored in all but their opening Premier League home game this season, while Everton had their shooting boots on with a three-goal haul in their last away match.
With that in mind David Moyes' side are 2.95 (39/20) to record any sort of victory and it could be a shrewd punt as the Blues emerge from a period of mixing it with the Premier League's elite.
If you fancy Ossie to repeat his goalscoring feat from last season's corresponding fixture the midfielder is an 11.00 (10/1) chance to bag the first goal.
A lengthier punt is on Jagielka to snare the first goal of the game. The Everton centre half often goes forward for set pieces and scored against Wigan earlier this term following a corner.
His strike on Tyneside last season also came from a training ground free-kick routine. Jags scoring the first goal is a 34.00 (33/1) gamble.
