Garbutt Loaned To Cheltenham
Teenage left-back heads to League Two side for a month.
Everton defender Luke Garbutt has joined Cheltenham on a month's loan.
Garbutt, 18, is yet to make a senior appearance for Everton but did play in the friendly against Bohemians in August.
The left-back, who can also operate in midfield, joined Everton in 2009 from Leeds and has featured regularly for the Under-18 and reserve teams.
He is also an England Under-19 international.
Cheltenham have won four of their 10 games in League Two this season and face Bristol Rovers this weekend.
Robins boss Mark Yates was delighted with his acquisition and thanked David Moyes for his part in the deal.
"We've got another good young player from a fantastic club," he declared.
"He has been a very good youth player, he's stepped up well to reserve football and now he is looking to take the next step in his career by getting involved in and around our first team. David Moyes has been brilliant about it and I look forward to working with him.
"He has been around the international setup and he's a very good player. He has a great left foot, he's quick and his delivery from set pieces is very good too. He'll add another dimension to our squad down that left hand side. He's young but he is a decent player and I'm delighted to have him here."
