Bellefield Bulldozed: Exclusive Photos

The bulldozers moved in on Bellefield, Everton's former training ground, on Thursday afternoon.

Three-and-a-half years since it closed its doors, the old building was finally demolished.

Planning permission to build 74 luxury homes on the site was granted last year and this week's demolition was the latest stage in that process.

Bellefield was Everton's day-to-day home for more than 60 years before the Toffees switched to their current Finch Farm home in October 2007.
