Everton Face Chelsea In Fourth Round
Everton await opponents in FA Cup Fourth Round
Everton will host a repeat of the 2009 FA Cup Final in this term's Fourth Round, with double holders Chelsea after the FA Cup holders thrashed Ipswich Town at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea beat managerless Ipswich 7-0 with braces for Frank Lampard and Daniel Sturridge, strikes from Salomon Kalou and Nicolas Anelka and an own goal from Carlos Edwards.
The Toffees sealed their place in the Fourth Round with a 5-1 win against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park.
David Moyes side were beaten by the West London club at Wembley two seasons ago when Louis Saha's first minute goal was cancelled out by Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.
The Toffees will be buoyed by their recent league record against the Premier League Champions having lost just once in their last eight top flight meetings.
Carlo Ancelotti's side are the current holders of the trophy having beaten Stoke City, Aston Villa and Portsmouth on their way to glory last year.
The tie will take place on the weekend commencing January 29. Look out on evertonfc.com for kick off details.
