Belgian midfielder enjoys meeting Thai Evertonians

Marouane Fellaini admitted he was delighted to act as an ambassador for Everton as the Club officially signed a new sponsorship deal with Chang.
The Belgian international – Everton’s record signing – was the star attraction as the Blues penned the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in their history.
Fellaini was mobbed before and after the a press conference at Bangkok’s Athenee Plaza and spent around 20 minutes signing autographs and posing for pictures with delighted Thai supporters.
The 22-year-old told evertontv: “For me it is my first time in Thailand. The Club has asked me to come to help mark the new deal and I was happy to help.
“I am pleased to see the Thai fans and the atmosphere was great here today. I am really enjoying it. The deal with Chang is important to Everton and I am pleased it is good news for the Club.”
Thai fans donned ‘Felli wings’ and chanted the Belgian’s name as he chatted and signed autographs.
Thoon Paithoon, who had his picture taken with the Blues midfielder, said: “It is incredible to see him here in Thailand. He is one of our favourite players and to get the chance to meet him is fantastic.
Por Jirahit added: “We have been Everton fans since 1985 so for the Club to be sponsored by Chang is fantastic for us – it brings them here to Thailand. It was great to meet Fellaini.”
