Moyes & Round Admit Charges
Everton duo admit FA misconduct charges.
David Moyes and Steve Round have admitted FA charges of improper conduct.
The pair were charged over their behaviour following Everton's 3-3 draw with Manchester United.
Moyes will pay a £8,000 fine which is the standard sanction offered for this charge under The FA’s new fast-track disciplinary procedures.
Round has submitted a plea in mitigation with relation to the standard sanction.
This will be heard by a Regulatory Commission on Monday 20 September.

Paul Keevansif he's fourth official that means he will be holding up the board at the and of a game..... whats the odds on it being 3 mins of added time.....
Friday 17th September 09:55 Report CommentPaul HowellsI agree with Adam Laffoley, seeing Atkinson demoted at least shows the FA have realised he was in the wrong. But its not really enough when you consider the severity of Moyes' and Round's punishments. After all he will now still get paid a days wage but have an infinitely easier time as he wont have any real work to do. Referees should be answerable for their performance just as players and managers are. Lets hope whoever we get on saturday is better, then again cant be any worse.

Malcolm BubbAbsolutely Bondies; The FA are fast turning into a laughing stock particularly with the national team and the people they bring in. Seems like the few good people they have, they upset.
Thursday 16th September 19:17 Report CommentTHE BONDIESthe fa what a joke, group of old men in suits that no nothing about football, just interested in getting some more money in their pockets ,absolute joke and a disgrace
Thursday 16th September 18:23 Report CommentPaul HowellsIts a shame that having seen that the referee was clearly wrong on several occasions including blowing the whistle 30 seconds before time was up (Yes it was blown on 93:30 but with two goals both scored after the board came up carrying an additional 30 seconds each then the game should carry on until 94:00) the FA have merely demoted Atkinson to 4th official. He too should be fined, of course not £8,000 as he only earns around £1,000 per match. But at least around £200. Putting a standard sanction in a fast-track system on the referees would surely make them perform better.

CRAIG WEILDINGYeah they might as well. Just get it over and done with. They should be allowed an opinion. Said it umpteen times, Ferguson and Wenger would get away with it. Moyesie you are BRILLIANT. COYB.

David BadcockVery sensible: it was always unlikely that the FA would allow themselves to be seen to condone their behaviour, even if it warranted it, The FA's official and public stance is always that the referee is correct. DM and SR MIGHT just get the nod of acceptance on receipt of the plea, seen in private, and the chance of a lesser penalty, I suppose.
