Nigerians Miss Villa Clash
Yak, Yobo and Anichebe miss Villa and Neville remains a doubt.
David Moyes will be without his Nigerian contingent for the trip to Aston Villa on Sunday - as Phil Neville continues his battle to overcome a foot problem.
Victor Anichebe, who has been missing since the start of the season because of a knee problem, has been joined on the sidelines by fellow internationals Joseph Yobo and Yakubu ahead of Sunday's trip to Villa Park.
Yobo has sustained a thigh strain in training, whilst Yakubu has been struck down by illness.
Neville remains a doubt with the foot problem which has caused him to miss the games against Wolves and Huddersfield but has not yet been ruled out of the trip to the Midlands.
Moyes told evertonfc.com: "Yakubu had a knock but also had a stomach upset in midweek and wasn't available to come in. Joseph had a thigh strain picked up in training but both of them are days away rather than weeks."
Yobo and Yakubu have yet to figure for the Blues this term and Moyes continues to be buoyed by the wealth of options open to him despite the latest injury setbacks.
He added: "I hope the players have always been fighting for their places but most days over the last two or three years we have been training with between nine, 10 and 11 senior players. At the moment we are up to somewhere in the region of 18, 19 or 20 players in terms of people you would consider first-team squad players.
"In the past when we have had such low numbers we have had to add a lot of the younger boys to make the training numbers up. Has it helped having so many available? I think it has. I think the players realise and look around and see a lot of good players around them."

Wai Kin Lowi would start coleman in the 2 earlier games but now it is against ashley young...he is a very dangerous winger. maybe it is safer to use heitinga as a right back this time and use feillani as a holding midfielder.

graham griffithsdaniel think most of us want 2 see the 4 4 2 but dont think moyes wants to upset the midfielders who dont get a start but thats exactly what we should be aiming for a fight for the startin 11 make the players train harder and be reay for every game we need 3 points and we dont score may goals with 1 upfront and its boring to watch

Daniel LamontWhy dont we be Positive and play 4-4-2 would love to see Saha's experience and beckfords raw pace together. and as for RB position Neville is the man, got a good cross and has the right brain to stop Young from ruining my sunday.

Maybe go for Jonny or Captain Courageous, But I guess its the only way you find out if he's as good as he looks, mmm Im not sure, Ill leave Moysey wi that one. M Byrnemoyes has a full squad but hasn't yet convinced me that he knows how to pick the correct tactics. It seems he only does well when the team picks itself, lots of good players Moyesy mate, but no cutting edge or urgency from the players that you've picked so far

Paul HowellsI hope these are genuine illnesses and injuries that will be over in a matter of days as the article states and not cover ups due to an impending move for any of the three lads. I think even if we may have better options in all of their positions we still need these guys in our squad to come in when others are under performing or to offer a different approach to a game if things need to be freshened up.

Wai Kin Lowthe nigerians are not playing well recently..wonder what is their problem? and even if they are fit, i don't think that they can even start for our team...jagielka/distin is ahead of yobo...and beckford/saha is ahead of yakubu...and anichebe would be a 2nd choice after pienaar/billy and maybe osman or gueye
