The Blues new centre-forward sat with Website Editor, Matthew Gamble, in the team's Sydney hotel base and patiently waded through all the questions sent in by inquisitive Evertonians from all around the world.

He revealed that the rest of the squad and the staff have made him really welcome and that his one and only visit to Goodison Park so far left a big impression on him.

He described the place as ‘amazing' and said that he can't wait to get started.

Amongst other things, ‘Becks' made comment on Marouane Fellaini's hairstyle, the prospect of being ‘pranked' by his new team-mates, he revealed his footballing hero and he hinted at a possible international connection.

We also had some complimentary messages from Leeds United fans - something that Jermaine was thrilled with.
