New Home Kit Revealed
Evolution continues as the Blues unveil new 2010/11 strip.
Supporters gathered at Goodison Park tonight to witness the ‘Everton Evolution’ continue, as the Club revealed its new home kit for the 2010/11 season.
Fans turned out en masse to witness Graeme Sharp, Everton’s record post-war goal scorer, unveil both the famous Dixie Dean statue and Jack Rodwell, one of the most exciting prospects in the Premier League, wearing the innovative new strip.

Commenting on the new kit, Everton’s rising star Rodwell, said: “The lads really like the new kit. I like the fact it’s simple and stylish. Hopefully it will prove lucky for us and we will have lots of success wearing it next season.”
The Le Coq Sportif strip, which is described as ‘an evolution of the traditional Everton royal blue colour, was a big hit with Everton supporters on the night.
,
Everton will wear their new colours for the first time on 10 July, when they face Sydney FC during the first-team squad’s pre-season tour of Australia. In addition to the fixture against Sydney FC, the Blues will play two other games while ‘Down Under’, against Melbourne Heart on 14 July and Brisbane Roar on 17 July. All three games will be broadcast evertonTV. For further details visit evertonfc.com.

David Waughpersonally i think its a bit plain or boring. its really just a blue shirt with the extras (badge, make and sponsor) with lighter and darker shades of blue. still its a decent kit.

Soccer LAI've got a great way to sell loads of Everton Jerseys! Sign #9 Donovan. I know with 18 million people in LA area Beckham earned the Galaxy his salary back in 1 week of Jersey sales. Same profit can happen here, I got both kits on order and ready to hit the streets of LA/SF/NYC in Everton Blue! And Pink! Le Coq will have to open a store on Rodeo Drive and soon movie stars will tattoo COYB on their arm and gangsters will rap out the Mersyside chants on MTV!!!!! NO JOKE HAHA! BUT PLEASE MOYES DON'T MAKE ME BUY A CITY JERSEY.

Thomas McCarten32 years blue alan,i guess because you didnt like the half & half kit, everton should contact you on future kits as you seem to speak on behalf of everyone else, 7 let u decide, as long as its blue & everton,s ill wear it,i just felt it could have done with a couple of white sashes or 2 on the sleve or coller, im just a fan of the retro kits, as i think alot of blues will agree they were happy days ?

Thursday 1st July 16:21 Report CommentPeter ShieldsI like the simple, traditional and clean-cut look of this shirt. I'm glad that it's quite uncomplicated. The shirt would look too cluttered with the 'FA Cup final 2011' embroidery on the middle of the chest otherwise! To be honest though, the shirt should have gone on sale before fathers day and after the release of this seasons squad numbers. I know I'm not the only one holding back for the squad numbers at the minuite?

Thomas McCartenmy thoughts excacally, i wonder if the training top looks more like a home kit ? i would of been alot happier if the rumours of us makeing it look like the old 80,s half and half blue & white bib top came true, verry plain, wouldnt it be a idear for the club to have a few designs on show & let the fans vote, through our websites, & magazines, hardly looks like any effott has gone into this at all, on a side note welcome back boys, & a even bigger welcome to our new signings, coyb

Mike WilliamsHave to agree on the cost issue. Last season's shirts were clearly overpriced, although I did like them, hence the firesale at end of season when shirts were available at £10. There was probably still a margin in them for both club and supplier at that rate. Come on Everton and Coq Sportiff £35 would seem right.

Mike WilliamsI've just received the glossy marketing blurb sent out in the mailshot. And actually in contradiction of my previous comment 'Dull, dull, dull etc' the kit looks pretty good and dare I say it 'traditional'. But what stick will our players get in the monstrosity that is the Away kit.

So disappointedI love it - last seasons was disgusting - this is a modern take on the original royal blue. Got to be hones - I love the pink too but then I've always been in touch with feminine side... Agree with Colin though - price is completely ridiculous - premier league should do something as the cost of a shirt that changes every two years at most is not on - especially when you've got growing kids to consider.

Stephen LyonWhen Le Coq come up with an elaborate kit design, people moan. When Le Coq comes up with a traditional and simple kit design, people moan. There really is no satisfying some people. I think it's a great shirt. It also looks nothing like a training shirt as some people have posted, as a training shirt has all the little flashes and fancy bits on that some people like. This looks like a PROPER football shirt for a PROPER football team. COYB!

Wednesday 30th June 19:16 Report CommentChris BannantyneI think it looks pretty classy really. Not sure that the section across the chest was really necessary. But this kit is certainly all about the Everton royal blue. The Keepers kit is a little suspect, but then again they usually are.
