2010/11 Fixtures Revealed
Blues start against Blackburn at Ewood Park.
Everton will travel to Blackburn on the opening day of the 2010/11 Barclays Premier League season.
The fixtures for the upcoming campaign were revealed on Thursday with the Ewood Park trip followed a week later by Wolves' visit to Goodison Park.
There's an early clash with Manchester United on 11 September, while the Merseyside derby at Goodison is on 16 October.
The Anfield return is on 15 January while the season ends with a home game against current champions Chelsea.
Birmingham City visit on Boxing Day but the Toffees then have an away match at West Ham two days later.
The trip to Premier League debutants Blackpool is in early November, with the home fixture taking place at the start of February.

David Kellyexcecellent fixtures there all games that arent followed by tough opponents, great news and with regards to the FA cup this happens every year its easier to just move 2 peoples games than just leave a whole fixture blank for the 1 weekend, i dont think we will win the leauge like some of u are saying but champions leauge is a excellent oppertunaty this year.hope we reach a cup final this year again too, we should with no europe and the team we have

Matt TuncIs it me or is this draw the most even spread we've had in years, with the mouth watering clash v Chelsea at the end. Those 3 points are likely to be enormous for both teams. Can't wait...bring it on...COYB!

Phil ThomasIt doesn't really matter when the games are, we just need to start good, and get a good finish high up in the league. We haven't got a tough month like last year, when we had liverpool, chelsea, man u and spurs. The FA Cup Final - 28th May We could easily win the league, other clubs could rest players for Europe and domestic competitions
Thursday 17th June 17:15 Report CommentKieran Gillgreat set of games i cant imagin how good the atmosphere is going to be wen we play chelsea last game to win the title COYB

Sam ScottActually very pleased with the fixture list! We don actually seem to have a "tough" month like we have the past few seasons, all the big games are spread out, think this will help us, confidence will be high this season and i dont think theres an obvious "bad" month.

Mikel ArreguiAbout the FA Cup Final... I've been looking it up and it seems it'll be the 14th of May?!?!?! Who had that crazy idea, there are league matches that same day!!! Why not move one league round to a free Wednesday, make the league finish the 15th and the FA Cup the following Saturday as always? It makes much more sense, this way I can only see the FA Cup being devaluated even more, which is a shem cos I just love it :(
Thursday 17th June 12:52 Report CommentMikel Arreguiwow, last game vs Chelsea! A dream comes to my mind, we're playing for the Championship that day... :) hope it becomes true, though I know it's very difficult! Don't really mind about the order of the matches as last year we did great against the supposed most difficult teams. But two questions I can't sort out: 1- why again the first Merseyside derby at home??? and 2- when is the FA Cup final going to take place??? The league ends on the 22nd but the following Saturaday it's the CL Final at Wembley! Anyway,.. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!
Thursday 17th June 11:56 Report Commentpatrick ryan2002 since we last played a derby game away first, why can't we play at their ground first!!

Neal McAndrewGet blackburn out of the way quick but we played Blackburn first a couple of years ago and lost so we have to be careful and not give anything away, utd in the first few games is good put us out of our misery early and chelsea last will be very difficult especially if we are chasing europe on the last day and they are chasing thet title at the same time

Matt FosterAlthough there will be no doubt a few games rearranged for cup commitments, this doesn't look bad to me. Certainly no runs of difficult opposition week after week. Nice last game of the season too.

Adam Gibbonssuppose there is one good thing about the fixtures. there is no month of death (although that was when we won most of our games so maybe we should have a month of death lol)
