Coleman In Wembley Final
Seamus Coleman plays as Blackpool reach the play-off final.
Seamus Coleman
Seamus Coleman has a date with Wembley after Blackpool reached the Championship play-off final.
The on-loan Everton defender played the full 90 minutes in a dramatic 4-3 second-leg win over Nottingham Forest.
The Tangerines took a 2-1 lead into the encounter at the City Ground but were pegged back when Rob Earnshaw pulled Forest level on aggregate.
It took a stunning hat-trick from DJ Campbell to inspire Ian Hollway's men to a dramatic 4-3 victory on the night.
Substitute Stephen Dobbie was also on the score sheet for the visitors while Earnshaw's brace and Dele Adebola's injury time consolation goal weren't enough to keep Forest's Premier League dream alive.
Blackpool will now take on either Leicester or Cardiff for a place in the top flight.
The Bluebirds go into the second leg of their play-off semi-final clash in Cardiff with a 1-0 lead.
A Phil Jagielka signed away shirt and a European Cup Winners' Cup poster signed by members of Howard Kendall's victorious squad are up for grabs on eAuction. Click here to lodge your bid now.

Trent CiniSeamus is a RB and was rated a 9.7 by Skysports, and Campbell who scores a hattrick only gets a 9.5! Seamus you little beauty!
Wednesday 12th May 00:02 Report CommentMikel ArreguiCongrats to the Seasiders! I've watched the second half and what a thriller of a match that was. Brilliant display by Blackpool and this experience will do no harm to Coleman I'm sure :) Come On Seamus!
