Tim Cahill has been listed in Australia's 30 man provisional squad for the World Cup.
The Everton midfielder is named alongside former Blues defender Lucas Neill.
The Socceroos will cut the squad down to 27 later in the month and then the final 23 by the end of May.
In 2006 Cahill became the first Australian to score in a World Cup finals.
The Blues favourite came on as a substitute to equalise against Japan then went on to score the winner during the group stage in Germany.
Australia reached the last 16 but were eliminated by the eventual winners Italy after a controversial Francesco Totti penalty.
