Boss Disappointed With Draw

Stephen EvansI have been critisised before for my comments but who cares (I do) to be given a point at Brum prior to the game we would have taken. We have been doffed by injuries to a small squad for 12 months but we are a team no one would want to play on the final day of the season to win the premiership. Perhaps we have to take stock and launch a serious bid for a top four place next year, which but for our poor start this year would have been easily within our grasp. I beleive in DM and trust in him explicitly, for a number of years we have had false dawns but when you see the reality of our squads. being so small. what we can acheive is harder compared to back to the early seventies and mid eighties when we could compete for players. When we talk about earlier comparrisons we forget that to finish fourth was not an achievement, but today it is the difference for some teams between success and bancruptcy. After being given lifelines (rule changes included) in the past I hope our nearest and (not) dearest rivals fail in a bid to qualify for the Champions League and let them see what it is about. We will return to our place at the top of the league, hopefully, under the guidance of David Moyes prior to him being taken away by a bigger club (so called).

Mikel ArreguiLosing these two points was a big blow for our european aspirations. I was reaally dissapointed as I though we would win after being 0-2 up so early. It's true we slipped and played badly from them on, but let's be honest and give credit where creti is due, Birmingham are a really hard team to beat and they're having a wonderful season, so both things contributed to the final score. However, this means that we'll need to take most of the points remaining if we want to play in Europe next season, and especially improve away. But we can do it, the team's on a good run overall! joseph grechin terms of pushing for a european slot it was a very big blow losing 2 points in that way,we look comfortable with 2-0 lead..then we let in two soft goals which do the damage.about the penalties,the ref should have given at least one.

Shaun HannaReally disappointed with the result. At 2 nil up after 29 mins i thought we'd take all 3 poinsts that was a six point game as was spurs and again we came up short. Europe might be a step to far this season! But to be honest the amount of bad luck and injuries weve had this season has been unbelieveable. If you look at what games we have left we should be taking some good points.

Neil SteeleUnacceptable performance to throw a 2-goal lead away like that. I don't understand why the manager is highlighting 'sloppy goals' when the bigger problem was the way we lost all composure and started hoofing the ball as soon as Birmingham got back to 2-1. Very disappointing.

Declan Ryanin my opinion we dropped 2 vital points! if we won we would be a point above Birmingham ,1 point behind Villa, and just 5 behind 4th place...an absolutely terrible result we should have beaten them! and where was Saha??

John HauI am rather disappointed with the result especially we let a two goals lead slip, and I was rather surprise when Saha is not ready to be on the bench, you choice to include Hibbert or Gosling, when you should consider having another Striker as back-up like Agard, when sadly Anichebe has to come off, we could have brought on Agard instead of Gosling, and Donovan could have stay in RM, where we have planned to used him for this match, not as though Donovan is not good at being striker but we look rather lost as soon as we played Donovan upfront, I did say this again we let all the hard work we done in getting those two early goals slip away, we just didn't deserve all three points when we let in more than a goal, we have only ourselve to blame, if we are still looking for Europe this season, we simply can't let these slip happen again in any of our last nine games!
