Blues become first Premier League to launch Android application.

Everton have become the first Premier League club to launch an official Android application. 

Everton Football Club has launched the first official Premier League club application for Android devices. 

The new Android application, iEverton, has been launched in response to the huge success of the Club’s iPhone application of the same name. Like the iPhone application, the new Android version offers fans a great way to receive news, images, video and other engaging content about Everton straight to their Android device, allowing for the best use of the device’s advanced functionality.

The iEverton application is available in two formats: iEverton and iEverton Lite. Both formats feature as standard all the latest Club news as it happens, Everton’s current league position, recent results and articles from the News Archive. 

Supporters will also be able to find official statistical information including fixtures, results, tables and player appearances plus squad details, ticket information, Club history and teamsheets via both formats. 

The premium version of the application, iEverton, includes video highlights, official Club podcasts, photos, wallpapers and live match updates to enable the ultimate fan to access everything Everton.

“To keep up with this demand and ensure we reach as many fans as possible, the new Android application is another extension of the media services we provide to communicate with our supporters.”
