Moyes: Players Were Terrific
Get all the reaction from the Blues win over Hull

Everton manager David Moyes said that his players produced a terrific performance to destroy Hull City 5-1 at Goodison Park.
The Blues took the lead through Mikel Arteta early on and then responded in devastating fashion to being pegged back just after the half-hour mark when Tom Cairney volleyed in from the left-edge of the penalty area.
A first-half brace from Mikel Arteta was followed by a Richard Garcia own goal and strikes from Landon Donovan - on his last Goodison appearance - and Jack Rodwell.
But Moyes admitted that he was still a little unsettled until the game was out of sight in the second half.
"It was a terrific performance," the Goodison boss said. "Some of our football was excellent at times and we were very worthy of the scoreline today, I felt. I thought overall we made several chances which could have resulted in more goals.
"But even when it was 2-1, I was still worried - when we got the third one I was still worried. We had lost a goal when it looked like we probably wouldn't - it came from a set-piece where the boy [Cairney] volleyed it home.
"It was only when we got the fourth that I started to feel a little more confident.
"I was a little concerned and we had missed a penalty as well and when they got back to 1-1, I thought our players slightly lost their way.
"I thought to myself that this is going to be one of those days that we rue but, in the end, the players did a good job and got all of the points."

John HauA generally a pretty top class performance from everyone, but couple player taken a while to get started in the first half, second half we were playing in a different level compare to first half, Donovan really made the difference, with his pace on the right make a more competitive team, and allow Arteta do more with our attack as he had more option, we should consider using Coleman in a similar way when Donovan go back to the state, also happy to see Rodwell is looking to be back to his best again and if we could keep up with this sort of performance, Europe is certainly a real possibilities!

Ian MacdonaldTop class performance all round but we need to get behind the Yak as there is a doubt about Saha's fitness and there were signs that Yak's general play is improving he just needs a goal.COYB

Monday 8th March 07:57 Report CommentMark HooleyIt doesn't get much better than that. It's nice to have the real Everton back and let's focus now on getting back in Europa.
Monday 8th March 06:48 Report CommentLawrence SharpIn the past we've been known as a side most dangerous on setpieces. Recently, though, the side have strung together some real quality goals from open play. The King's second goal against Chelsea, all three goals against Man Utd, four of the goals yesterday... all quality finnishes from open play. The side really looks to have a lot of class about them right now. Arteta was worthy of MOTM, but the whole side was fantastic. Pienaar was also excellent, as usual. But I was particularly impressed by Johnny Heitinga. He's really settling in very well now. Anyone placing bets against us making top 6 ? Tough task, but don't count this side out just yet... IMWT COYB ! ! ! !

alexis leungGreat game. In better form the Yak should have got 4. Arteta and Jags are coming back. Peanut is always good. Let's go crushing Birmingham the same way. Now we have a big and talented squad, more experience, and are making real sense going to Europe again next year.
