Sean O'Hanlon has completed a permanent move to Second Division promotion chasers Swindon Town.
The 21-year-old defender has spent the past two months with the Robins, making ten appearances and scoring one goal in a 2-0 win over Chesterfield.
Since his arrival at the County Ground, Andy King has been extremely keen to snap up the youngster on a long-term contract - and he has now got his man.
Over the past two years, O'Hanlon has established himself as a second string regular for the Blues after working his way up through the Academy ranks.
Indeed, the Formby-born youngster made more appearances for the reserves than any other player during the 2002/03 season.
However, he has missed out on a huge chunk of this season's games as he was forced to undergo hernia repair surgery back in October.
O'Hanlon has represented England at youth level and can operate as a centre back or right back and coach Andy Holden believes it's a good move for the youngster.
"It can only improve his career, because he hasn't been in David Moyes' first-team plans," he told evertonfc.com.
"He's going to be playing regular first-team football and that's extremely important. Andy King will look after him and I'm sure he'll do well.
"He's a great lad, a pleasure to work with and I wish him all the best for the future."
