New Everton Fans' Forum Members Confirmed

The Everton Fans’ Forum has elected five new members following a supporters’ vote.

All Blues with a supporter number were eligible to have their say and choose their preferred candidates from a shortlist of 10.

Thousands of votes were cast, and the top four candidates were all appointed to the Forum automatically. A fifth has been invited to join in place of a departing Forum member.

The new Fans' Forum representatives are: Sarah Twigg, Helge Gunnevag, Matt Brazier, Tony Whittaker and Kate Brown

The new members will begin their tenures next week when they join existing Forum representatives at their monthly meeting with operational-level Club staff, and each will serve three-year tenures.

The Everton Fans' Forum has been in operation for more than a decade and engages with supporters to give feedback and ideas to the Club in areas such as the matchday offering at Goodison Park and Walton Hall Park, catering, retail, international supporter engagement, sustainability, and equality, diversity and inclusion projects.

The new electees will also have the opportunity to join the Everton Stadium project group, which will be key in continuing dialogue with fans as we edge closer to our new home.

The Fans' Forum and the Club would like to thank Stan Afflick, who will be leaving the Forum this month, for his efforts and commitment during his time on the panel.

Barry Williams, Everton Fans' Forum chair, said: "We're really pleased with the response from Evertonians to the vote and delighted to welcome Sarah, Helge, Matt, Tony and Kate to the Forum.

"We had a particularly strong group of candidates this year and I believe we now have a group that is as diverse and as representative of the global Everton fan base as we've had in my time on the Forum.

"That can only be positive as we continue to listen to fans and work with the Club to develop changes and improvements in areas that affect all Blues.

“I would also like to thank Stan Afflick for his time on the Forum. Stan was always eager to provide a voice for families and was also key in developing the Evertonians Against Hate group to help the Forum tackle discrimination in all its forms and make matchdays at Goodison a better experience for all supporters."
