Jordan Pickford has reiterated his commitment to Everton ahead of the 2023/24 season.

England's first-choice goalkeeper has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs according to media reports in recent months, however, Pickford has no interest in entertaining the speculation.

In an interview with The Athletic, the Blues shot-stopper insisted he will remain on Merseyside and remains focused on pushing the Club forward.

“Definitely," he said. "I’ve just signed a new contract and I’m happy and my family is happy so now we just want to move forward as a club.”

Elsewhere, The Liverpool ECHO discusses the future of Academy prospect, Katia Kouyate.

The 19-year-old fired home the Blues' opener against Stade Nyonnais on Friday night, and, alongside quotes from Kouyate's interview with evertonfc.com, the local read commented: "The teenager collected Alex Iwobi’s pass, took a touch and rifled in an emphatic finish to give Everton the lead.

"It was a wonderful moment for the youngster, whose acrobatic celebration showcased his joy.

"The strike was a personal milestone for Kouyate, who continued to impress into the final minutes as his pace and skill caused problems for rival defenders."
