My name is Matheus, I'm Brazilian and an Evertonian.

I don't know when exactly I met this club, maybe between 2007 and 2009 playing a video game, but I remember when I started to support Everton. It was in 2014 when the club was fighting for a Champions League place.

It was a Saturday morning. I was watching on TV the game against Manchester City at Goodison Park... That was the moment Everton touched me.

I remember watching and thinking, 'Oh, they are good, they really want it.' The team was incredible and he atmosphere around the game was crazy. It enchanted me.

It's very hard to put into words what the club means to me now. I created a deep feeling with the Everton Football Club and everything about it.

Everton motivated me to learn another language and culture.

I started work as a volunteer in social projects, too, after I got to know the Everton in the Community -  and this helped me a lot to improve as a person.

This year, 2023, I went to Goodison Park. It was the first time I had ever been overseas. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience. I love the atmosphere, the people, the city, you can feel it's not about the institution, but the community, you can breathe that all the time.

When you meet people like Lily Barnes, who has dedicated several decades to the club, you stop and think what a big family this club is.

I had read about her last year, on article in Liverpool Echo and I met her during my Goodison Tour and afterwards I gave her a scarf of Pelé, as a way the gratitude. She was very appreciative and gave me a programme from the game he played.

It was an incredible time in Merseyside. I will never forget it. This club deserves the best and the people were incredible with me. I hope to come back in the future for the new stadium, of course.

I love this club. My football club.
