Players' Player of the Season

Joleon Lescott underlined his growing stature as an Everton player by winning the Players' Player of the Season for the second successive season.

Lescott captured the award last year following an impressive debut season at Everton.

This time around, he repeated the feat, highlighting how highly he is valued by his teammates.

Every member of the first team squad is entitled to have their say in the ballot, with Lescott finishing just ahead of Lee Carsley when the votes were tallied.

Nine-goal Lescott received the prize from skipper Phil Neville.
